Skeet is currently canceled until further notice. One of the machines needs maintenance. We will post here as soon as it is repaired.

Sunday June 11th

Torrington Fish and Game will be hosting the Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever club “Sprint into Summer” Field Trials. All TF&G club members are welcome and encouraged to attend. Come see what an AKC Club test is all about and see some water dogs in action!

This test will be Tollers only, but if successful, we hope to open this up to all retrievers next year. Planning for tests is a great way to keep both your dog and yourself training regularly through-out the summer. Hope to see you there!

Please note that the stocking schedule for tomorrow Friday April 21st has been changed to Friday April 28th due to the weather and the softness of the ground. The pond will be closed on Friday April 28th to allow for stocking and will re-open Saturday the 29th.

Due to the weather and unforeseen circumstances, we will have to postpone the opening of Skeet on Wednesdays until next week. We will update this site by the end of the week to confirm.

North Goshen pond is open for fishing beginning tomorrow April 11th to club members.

The snow is gone, the field is accessible, and the weather is in our favor.
We will be opening the Skeet house to the public again starting April 9th from 8am-noon.

We plan to remain open on Sundays until we move to our normal spring/summer hours sometime in may as the weather allows. We will post when we make these time changes.

The Trout Pond will be stocked on friday pending the ability of the truck to reach the pond. If all goes well, we will open the pond on Opening Day, April 8th, at 7am as usual.

In the event that the ground is still too soft for the truck to stock on friday, we will be postponing opening day by 1 week. If there are any issues, we will post them here by Friday afternoon.

The Trout Pond will be closed on the following dates to all fishing this season for stocking.

April 7th
April 21st
May 12th
May 26th

Skeet has been canceled for March 12 due to weather.

We will post here when we open the field back up to the public.
