Torrington Fish and Game

The pond will open for fishing on Saturday April 14th, at 7am. The pond will be closed on the following dates for stocking:

Friday, April 13th
Friday, April 27st
Friday, May 11th
Friday, May 25th

The weather is looking good!

We will be opening skeet up on Sunday Jan 28th from 8-noon.

Due to weather and field conditions, skeet will be canceled on Sunday December 31st.

Torrington Fish and Game will be hosting two hunt tests this year!

-Note to Membership-
The Club Trout pond will be closed to fishing for the afternoons of these dates between 1pm and 5pm for the water trials. We will send out additional notifications to the membership in the Spring.

Club members are encouraged to come watch the events and enter their own dogs in the open AKC Trial.

The first event will be a closed club test for the NSDTRC.
TF&G Club members are welcome to attend.
May 12, 2018 and May 13, 2018
NSDTRC Region 1 Hunt Test
Stakes Offered: BRT, WC, WCI, WCX

The second event will be an open AKC Hunt Test.
TF&G Club members are welcome to both attend and register their own dogs in the event.
July 7, 2018 and July 8, 2018
Reg 1 – AKC Hunt Test – All breeds welcome
Stakes Offered: JH, SH

Both events are being chaired by Rochelle Kurth- goldenk9child@gmail.com

Premiums and additional information will be available in the months preceding the event.

Skeet will be canceled on Sunday December 10th due to weather. We will post updates if future dates are cancelled this year.

Just a notice to all members walking their dogs that beaver traps have been placed within the waterlines of the beaver pond and trout pond. They have been marked with white markers.
